Intent
Opening futures — and igniting enthusiasm
Even though we work with major companies and brands, the most important thing for us is never their names — it’s the questions and innovations at the heart of our collaboration. Our clients and partners arecharacterized by their intellectual zest and curiosity. We see ourselves as impulse-givers and co-creators: We leap ahead — into possible futures — in order to look back at the present. Strategies, concepts and projects we accompany and realize as Schwarms thrive on this change of perspective. It decisively complements a conventional, incremental approach. We offer: Consulting — for future projects. Or inspiration — through our Zukünfte-Abo.
“All that matters is that you are making something you love, to the best of your ability, here and now.”

Christian Kaspar Schwarm
Co-Founder, Entrepreneur, Strategist, Journalist
A business partner once wrote to us that the original bio we had for Christian didn’t do him justice. She surprised us with these words instead: “Christian inspires me to perform at my best — to think in ways that don’t arise from effort, but from unexpected connections. A kind of thinking that opens door, I might never have even knocked on alone, in no time. Just ten minutes with him is more valuable to me than three hours spent working on a problem alone. Thinking with him makes me faster, saves energy, and allows me to stay grounded — while making exactly the quantum leaps I was hoping for. And I rarely do go on to inspire others with what was sparked in our conversation.”We were deeply touched and asked if we could quote her. She said yes — and we’re grateful.
As for career milestones, just the short version: Born in 1972, Christian already worked as a journalist while still at school and university. He founded two agencies and a digital art platform. He has been a strategy consultant for the past ten years — spezializing on future projects since 2020. He is a member of the board of the “Freunde der Nationalgalerie” and is married to Lea Schwarm.

Lea Schwarm
Co-Founder, Research Specialist, Manager, Observer
Lea (born in 1988) has always been driven by her curiosity for the future and everything that might become possible within it. She regularly spends time in the U.S., which fuels her fascination with innovative ventures and ideas.
In a Berlin-based NGO, she developed new ways to open up perspectives for disconnected youth, helped launch Germany’s first bus service for homeless people and co-created a groundbreaking street newspaper — one that sold itself through content and bold design. As part of the foundation team of an environmental organization, she then advocated for school gardens to become as natural a part of schools as indoor gyms— allowing children to experience nature in a tactile way, tangibly relating to all subjects and disciplines. At Schwarms, Lea co-leads strategic and conceptual development, scouts for emerging ideas and potentials, and manages the business alongside Christian — with the shared goal of shaping “the most contemporary version of an old-school family business.”
